Swansea City didn’t look too troubled in this game, but the anger on the pitch was palpable as much as the anger off it. A huge chunk of missing fans decided they were not attending, and the club has to take stock on where they are going forwards. 14,692 was the official attendance, but we all know that’s as mythical as it gets. At least two thousand season ticket holders were not present. It was more like twelve thousand. |

The prime example the sale of Joel Piroe this summer, and then the money in for Olivier Ntcham and Joel Latibeaudiere, which massively increased the coffers. We are not going to go in to exact figures but suffice to say another big profit on sales and incomings was made. |

Regardless of what anyone says about yet another late late goal which deprived the swans of the honours it was a much better performance all round for Russell Martin’s Swansea City. However, yet again it signifies a lack of character in the Swansea defence which concedes goals late on as if it’s a given part of their game. |

During the final knockings of any transfer window players left on the bench or excluded will most certainly set tongues wagging. Michael Obafemi is one, and Olivier Ntcham is another. The former connected to a move away from Swansea tomorrow, the latter is more speculation. |

It’s very hard to evaluate a game positively when there’s little or nothing of any positive substance to analyse or discuss. Last nights game at Stoke was up there with the Bournemouth away defeat and indeed Preston away for lack of effort and cohesion, but there is more. |
